THE LEVEL 1-2 CLASS: ACROYOGA FUNDAMENTALS
Open your yoga practice with the ease, comfort and the support of a partner. This ongoing class touches upon all the disciplines that AcroYoga offers, combining Yoga, Acrobatics, and Thai Massage. The class experience may include: Circle Ceremony, Mirrored Asana, Partner Yoga Flow, Assisted Inversions, Partner Acrobatics, Flying Sequences and Thai Massage. Grounded in the breath, we will draw upon the natural forces of gravity and "metta" loving kindness to encourage the body to let go of fear and tension. Students are requested to have familiarity with yoga. No partner necessary! Do come...you won't
regret it.

ABOUT ACROYOGA
AcroYoga blends the spiritual wisdom of yoga, the loving kindness of Thai massage, and the dynamic power of Acrobatics. These three ancient lineages form the foundation of a unique new practice that cultivates trust, connection and playfulness. See http://www.acroyoga.org for more photos and info.

ABOUT HITCH
I was first trained in partner balancing, an aspect of Acroyoga, by circus performers in San Francisco and began casually performing at music festivals and weddings. One day in the park, while balancing partners on my knees and shoulders, I was discovered by the founders of Acroyoga and invited to spend the next year intensively studying the practice and becoming a teacher. I dove into AcroYoga and now it is my passion!

Personally, my Acroyoga practice has improved my strength, flexibility, spirit, and my ability to communicate and connect with others. As a teacher, I have flown and taught:
At festivals and camp outs, such as the Soup, Lightning in a Bottle and Symbiosis
Rock stars like Michael Franti and members of Thievery Corporation
Circus performers like those in Lucent Dossier Circus
Small children all the way up adults weighing over 300 lb.
People with disabilities, like a fellow that was missing both an arm and a leg
Other people in my tribe & in my community just like you!

I am also a community organizer of groups such as Ecotribe, a Dinner Party & Chess Club, and Acroyoga Play Sessions. I am an electronic music junkie & dancer, and lover of acrobatics and partner balancing. My other job is I am a professional real estate agent in San Francisco where I help people buy and sell homes.

Now AcroYoga my passion and I looks forward to teaching you!
